Pre & After Care
Healing is half the artistry.
Pre-care instructions.
Start preparing two weeks out. Anything that thins the blood or resurfaces the skin will affect how well pigment settles.
Please do
- Arrive with your brows exactly as you normally wear them — bring your pencil or powder if you use one.
- Eat a proper meal before your appointment; sessions run up to three hours.
- Book any facial, chemical peel, Botox or filler at least four weeks before.
- Let me know about any medications, skin conditions or allergies in advance.
Please avoid
- No alcohol, caffeine, fish oil, ibuprofen, aspirin or vitamin E for 24–48 hours prior — they thin the blood and affect retention.
- No retinol, glycolic acid or exfoliating actives on the area for two weeks prior.
- No tanning, sunburn or self-tanner on the face for two weeks prior.
- No brow waxing, threading or tinting for one week prior.
- No Accutane within the last 12 months.
Aftercare instructions.
The first fourteen days determine how crisp and saturated your final result will be.
Please do
- Blot the area gently with a clean tissue every 20–30 minutes for the first few hours.
- Wash morning and night with lukewarm water and the cleanser provided, patting dry with a clean paper towel.
- Apply a rice-grain amount of the aftercare balm twice daily for 7–10 days — thin layers only.
- Sleep on your back, ideally on a fresh pillowcase, for the first week.
- Attend your perfecting session at six to eight weeks. Healing is not complete until then.
Please avoid
- Do not pick, scratch or peel flakes — it lifts pigment and can scar.
- No swimming, saunas, steam rooms or hot yoga for 14 days.
- No heavy sweating or intense exercise for 7 days.
- No direct sun or tanning beds for 4 weeks; use SPF 30+ on healed brows forever after.
- No makeup, retinol, acids or exfoliants on the area for 14 days.
- No facials, chemical peels or laser treatment on the area for 4 weeks.
